The kicker was that I couldn't do anything to increase the reset strength. I tried eliminating any area of friction but it didn't matter. I finally gave up and ripped the Timney shoe off and installed it on my standard gen 3 trigger bar because it feels great on the finger. Final result is a great feeling standard trigger with a 3.5lb pull.
